How We Do Business
We are proud that our work meets the highest standards. We:
- Guarantee our (and our subcontractors) work permanently against any defects of workmanship or materials. We fix such defects without charge.
- Provide detailed estimates showing the scope of work, time it will take, and cost.
- Insist on written contracts for all the work we do.
- Execute written change orders that describe the work to be performed, time it will take, and cost for the change.
- Require a 12.5% deposit before we begin work.
- Once we begin, we don't leave jobs until they are finished.
- Provide detailed bills that show how a customer's money is spent.
- Include all subcontractor and materials bills with your bill.
- Bill every two weeks so our customers have an up-to-date idea of job progress. We send bills by both e-mail and the US Postal Service.
- Are fully insured - as are our subcontractors.
- Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Adhere to the Secretary of Interior's Standards for work on historic buildings.
- Provide our customers with more experienced craftsman than are available elsewhere.
- Match the quality, workmanship and appearance of early work at a reasonable cost.
- Provide good value in all the work we do.
- Can refer potential customers to numerous satisfied past customers.
- Treat our customers as we would want to be treated.
